PARAGON
The Rewinder of Tomorrow, Today
BW Converting's PCMC Paragon has a unique winding nest with a pivoting winding belt and driven center drives, reducing nip forces, preventing caliper crushing, maintaining roll bulk and ensuring superior traction and winding control.
Product Details
BW Converting's PCMC Paragon features a patent center-surface design that produces superior caliper, bulk and diameter flexibility. Log winding takes place in a new-concept nest, comprised of a winding drum, winding belt, compound-motion rider roll and center drives.
Many of the PCMC Paragon's subsystems are proven technology solutions in use on BW Converting's trusted PCMC Forte rewinder, with several upgrades. The PCMC Paragon's enhanced web handling and grade changes are mainly recipe-driven and its specially designed tools guide fast calibrations. Like the PCMC Forte rewinder, the PCMC Paragon has an intentional open-access design. Plus, the typical areas to clean require less frequent attention, with recovery and restart occurring safely and quickly.
